All vehicles (including those displaying an ADA placard) parked on campus or on any UCSB-owned property must obtain a valid campus parking ePermit from either Offstreet, the ParkMobile App or a parking pay station located in the parking structure.
Visitors should follow the "Parents & Family Weekend" signs to parking structure 22. Once parked, pedestrian signage from parking structure 22 will guide you to Gaucho Family Headquarters located at the University Center.
Parking Permit Information:
You will need your license plate number to purchase your permit - your license plate is your parking ePermit. Once purchased, your ePermit will be active via your license plate.
Option 1: Purchase via Offstreet
Purchase daily or two-day (Friday & Saturday) permits at standard campus rates. Offstreet ePermits allow you to park in any visitor lot. Other restrictions may apply to specific spaces or areas within a lot or parking structure.
Option 2: Purchase via the ParkMobile App
Purchase daily permits at standard campus rates using the ParkMobile App using the zone number posted in each lot. Other restrictions may apply to specific spaces or areas within a lot or parking structure.
Option 3: Purchase Permit at Pay Stations
Purchase daily permits at standard campus rates at a parking pay station. Pay station ePermits are only valid in the parking lot where the ePermit is purchased. Other restrictions may apply to specific spaces or areas within a lot or parking structure.
Traveling South on the U.S. 101 Freeway
- Take the Storke Road/Glen Annie Road exit off U.S. 101 approximately 12 miles north of Santa Barbara.
- Turn right on Storke Road and proceed two miles to El Colegio Road.
- Turn left on El Colegio Road and proceed to Ocean Road.
- Follow "Parents & Family Weekend" signs to parking structure 22.
Traveling North on the U.S. 101 Freeway
- Take the Airport/UCSB exit [Highway 217] off U.S. 101 approximately eight miles north of Santa Barbara, and proceed through the Henley Gate campus entrance.
- At the roundabout veer right onto Mesa Road.
- Turn left onto Ocean Road.
- Follow "Parents & Family Weekend" signs to parking structure 22.
Oversized vehicles, including RVs, travel trailers, and motorhomes, are not permitted on the UC Santa Barbara campus. Oversized vehicles include any vehicle which exceeds 22 feet in length or exceeds 90 inches in width. For additional information on oversized vehicles please refer to the Transportation & Parking Services website.
Please note: When driving to campus for Parents & Family Weekend, traffic may be impacted by Highway 217 construction. Please consider using alternate routes and allow extra time.
